Client Comments - Michael
"Michael is everything you could hope for in a physical therapist-firm, caring, motivating. He gives you the confidence you need to get better, is sure of himself and his knowledge, and genuinely loves what he does. That's why he excels at it."

"Mike has worked with our entire family over time. He assesses each situation thoroughly whether it was rehabilitation for me and my daughter or performance enhancement for my son. The results Mike has demonstrated with my family is testimony to his expertise."

"I was in a serious accident and severed my left quadriceps tendon. This is considered one of the worst injuries to your lower body. I was told immediately following surgery that the injury was so severe that I would never walk again properly. I was a 55 year old, extremely active senior executive, traveling the world. I also have a young wife and family. I was not ready to live the rest of my life with a handicap.
I asked my Orthopedic to recommend the top physical therapist available. Shortly after, I was introduced to Michael Kordecki - the doctor felt that if anyone could resolve my problem it would be Mike. They developed a difficult and aggressive long term plan to return my leg to as near as normal as before the accident. In a matter of 15 months, I went from wheelchair to walker to crutches to cane to finally walking almost as I did before. The end result was what I and my family see as a 'miracle,' but it was hard work and serious planning."

Client Comments - Jeannine
"I have been seeing Dr. John Brna for several problems: he is treating me conservatively for a
shoulder problem, and also did a scope on my knee. Dr. Brna referred me to Praxis for followup
therapy, where Jeannine Mattson is working with me on both the shoulder and knee.
Jeannine is an excellent therapist. She has kept me on the straight and narrow while being patient
with me; is assertive but motivating - putting me through my paces without a lot of pain.
Over the course of therapy, my pain has been eliminated; whereas before my pain level was so high
I couldn't get a good night's sleep. The atmosphere and office staff at Praxis are so helpful and
welcoming, it's almost an enjoyable experience."

Client Comments - Ryan
"My son had a 69° kyphosis of the upper back. Dr. Christopher DeWald prescribed a back brace,
from neck to torso. He also prescribed immediate physical therapy and referred us to Praxis. The purpose of the
physical therapy was to strengthen Billy's upper back and neck. Together, the brace and Ryan's physical therapy
and training served to reduce Billy's kyphosis to 45° after three months of therapy. He is still wearing his brace,
doing physical therapy with Ryan and under Dr. DeWald's care.
Billy is 15 years old. Originally he was coming in twice weekly to see Ryan, but now he comes in every other week.
In between, Billy does daily exercises that Ryan taught him how to perform.
Ryan treats Billy as an adult, and so Billy never complains that he has to come to therapy because it's such a
positive experience. When Ryan teaches the exercises, he works with Billy until he knows the exercises thoroughly
and properly. He has done a great job communicating to him how important the exercises are to his growing independence.
The two of them have a great rapport."

Client Comments - Beth
"I broke my leg in a car accident; a plate had to be put into the leg, and it has been an ongoing problem with
pain and function. I started seeing Beth three times a week, and now that's down to twice a week with exercises
at home. I find Beth warm, friendly, and very motivating. She always provides detailed and positive feedback about
how I'm following the therapeutic plan. Since I've been working with Beth, my pain has diminished greatly and my
functionality is much higher."

Client Comments - Christina
"Christina is a very gentle therapist. Naturally when someone has double knee surgery and has to go through all
that therapy, it can be very painful. After having been released a patient, I returned as an outpatient only to
wonder who would be my therapist for another eight weeks. When I was introduced to Christina I immediately felt
how warm a person she was. She was very gentle and kind, yet firm in the sense that she wanted to make sure that
you did the therapy properly.
I know that if I ever had to have some therapy again, I would want someone as kind, gentle and compassionate as
Christina Ferguson was to me. Because she has meant so much to me, I still keep in touch with her."
